My granddaughter the artist

 

Very intense lol. She is two and a half and knew not to mix her brushes and to rinse in between. Well the best she could. I bought 4  1 litre paints for 99 cents a container because they were out of stock paints. I figured that we couldn't go wrong. The easel that she is painting on is 30 years old my late husband made it for our boys. She was proud to add dribbles of paint to the easel after I told her that her father and uncle had made the original mess. She is an old soul. Her grandfather would be very pleased. I turned the other side into a chalkboard which she loves as well but she prefers to paint. 

I babysat her for a couple of hours yesterday had an amazing time with her. She is so precious. Her other favourite pass time is playing with the dollhouse.

That I bought her this year. She loves to come to grandmas house. Yay. I love having her. I'm a very proud grandma Margot as she calls me. As she still has a great great grandma a great-grandma plus two grandmothers and a step-grandmother. Hard to keep them all straight oh yes and a nanny Zena my mum. There are 5 firstborn women on her mum's side now. Pretty amazing. Have I told you how much I love her? 

Well, the snow has started it's supposed to snow for the next twenty-four hours approximately. So I will be housebound, not able to go anywhere with my walker. Oh well there is nothing I need or want and they have now opened up the indoor pool yay.
