Her name is Triss and she'll be a year old on August 8th. I'm so excited. She is a black cat with beautiful green eyes just what I wanted. I pray that we click I should probably go and meet her first and see what she is like. Maybe I'll call my friend Faye and see if she wants to go and see her or should I maybe wait and see what she is like on the 29th when her foster parent is going to drop her off. I have ordered a lid for Mikey my turtle's tank he needs one anyway whether I take Triss or not.
I had a terrible night last night not much sleep at all. I have been so hot here in the apartment. 27 to 29 degrees. There is a bit of a breeze outside but the sun is starting to come up and makes it really hot in the living room and balcony. So I'm sitting in my bedroom enjoying the fan as it blows on me at a meeting as well as writing.
I have been kitty-proofing my apartment and trying to set it up so I'll be able to get a cat stand for Triss. I have put away all of my crocheting and yarn in the front closet and packed up the painting project that I was working on on the dining room table. I also put my chess set away so it doesn't give Triss extra toys to bat around the apartment it looks pretty good in here actually. I also got rid of the zen garden that I had I should have taken a picture of it before I took it apart. Oh well.
