I don't know how to write this

I've been putting it off but I need to write in order to get my head on straight. My husband's one grandson the youngest from his youngest daughter was raped by a friend of the family on Christmas eve. I'm not handling it very well and I don't think you can handle something like this very well at all. It's one of your worst possible nightmares. They don't live near us so it's trying to keep in touch through texting and phone calls. He had to do a video testimony yesterday so that way he won't have to tell his story over and over again. This is all I can write for now. Usually my writing helps but this time it didn't. I don't know what to do how to help. I know what I'd like to do.
