Run into problems with learning Python

I have the newest version of Python and all the free classes or books online are from the older versions. The one I have been working on runs 3.4 I have 3.7 and am not able to do all the course material for it. I have tried downloading an older version but I'm not able to do that from Python webpage. So I'm stuck but I'm sure I will figure this out. I just have to put on my thinking cap and see what I can come up with. I am enjoying the challenge with my brain. So a searching I shall go.
